lifelong resident of Calhoun County and 1978 graduate Anniston High School, Alabama. Played football at AHS for Hall of Fame member and Coach Bill Farrell 1975-1977. All County - All Region 10 and H.M. All State Quarterback 1977. 1976 Alabama 4A Region 10 Champions.

* Attended Jacksonville State University; attained Civil Engineering Degree Alabama Technical College 1982.

* President-CEO of Morris Building Constructors, Inc. 1993 to present. Top 200 USA Industrial Contractor previous five years. Regional Director Colonial Bank North Central Region, active member of Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama, Calhoun County Quarterback Club and Golden Springs Baptist Church.

* Joined CCSHOF as a Board Member 2008.

* Married to Tammy Gidley Morris (Gadsden) with one daughter Alexandra (Ali).

* Along with wife a lifelong Red Sox fan.
